The famous board game azules will receive a new version with a strange touch of chocolate. AZUL: Master Chocolatero It is a new version of the chip placement board game with pieces designed to resemble chocolates wrapped instead of the usual porcelain tiles. The game will come with two dashboard variants. One will be the normal azules board while the other is intended to represent a chocolate factory, with special rules that modify the game in an un specified way. Players will be supposed to collect several chocolate nougat and place them inside a chocolate box in an aesthetically and delicious way. Plan B games, manufacturer of _azul,also hurried to point out that, although the game includes pieces that look like chocolate, they are as distrapable as the pieces of the original game.
Azul is a strategy game that consists of drawing decorated chips and using them to file a 5 × 5 square. The players earn points to fill rows and columns, and for having all the chips in a complete row of the same color. Players lose points when they waste supplies by not using chips to fill their board. This marks the fourth variant of azul,Next _azul: Sintra stained glass, blue: summer pabellón and azul: garden of the queen.
The original azules won numerous board games awards, including Spiel Des Jahres, and is widely praised as one of the best "gateway" board games to close the gap between conventional and light pure board games and light more complex strategy games. To date, more than two million copies of azules and their sequels have been sold. Copies of azules can be found both in hobbies and conventional stores such as Target, Amazon and Walmart.
AZUL: Master Chocolatero will be released this October. No sale price has been announced for the new game.
